Monthly Alumni Lunch - October 2018

Join San Diego Sigs for lunch in October 2018 as we welcome local Sig alumnus Tom Lofaro(Delta Xi, '91).

He will be speaking about his involvement as the Chairman of the Century Club of San Diego and the upcoming 2019 Farmer's Insurance Open.

Tom Lofaro joined the Ledcor Group in 2006 as Corporate Counsel in the company’s US headquarters in San Diego to manage and oversee all U.S. legal responsibilities for this diverse, international construction firm. In 2009, Tom was appointed Vice President, U.S. Legal and Corporate Secretary, and then in 2014, he was promoted to Senior Vice President. Since May 2016, Tom has served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel (US Operations) & Corporate Secretary where he manages the legal responsibilities of various Ledcor business units throughout North America. His primary responsibilities include general oversight of company litigation, negotiating and managing construction contracts and commercial transactions for the company’s business units, and assisting executive management in developing business strategies to meet company objectives.

Prior to joining Ledcor, Tom was in private law practice focusing on the representation of small to medium-sized businesses with a specific concentration on business/commercial transactions and construction disputes. Tom’s legal career began at a business and construction defect litigation firm based in Orange County, CA. Lofaro received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences with an emphasis on International Commerce from San Diego State University and his Juris Doctor degree from the Thomas Jefferson School of Law. He is licensed to practice in all courts in the State of California, as well as the U.S. District Court (Central District of California) and the United States Supreme Court. He also volunteers his time as a Temporary Judge and Settlement Conference Officer for the San Diego Superior Court.

Tom resides in San Diego with his wife Camille and their three children - - Jack (18), Tyler (16) and Grace (14). In the community, Tom is a board member of the Century Club of San Diego and a member of the Board of Trustees of the Rady Children’s Hospital Foundation.
