Monthly Alumni Lunch - July 2013
Join the San Diego Sigma Chi Alumni Chapter at our monthly luncheon! ALL Sigma Chi alumni are welcome no matter if you went to school on the east coast, west coast, in the Midwest or the South.
July featured Sigma Chi guest speaker is Brother Terry Atkinson ('69, SDSU).
Terry L. Atkinson, former managing director for UBS PaineWebber Inc.'s municipal securities group. Atkinson graduated from SDSU in 1969 with a bachelor's degree in public administration. He also holds a law degree from the University of San Diego.
He currently serves on The Campanile Foundation which is SDSU's first-ever comprehensive fundraising campaign to raise money for student scholarships, endowed faculty chairs and several other university-wide initiatives. During the 2008-09 fiscal year, The Campanile Foundation received more than $65 million in philanthropic gifts to support the university. Brother Terry Atkinson recently gifted of $1.5 million towards an endowment to support faculty research.
