Alumni Cleanup Day at the Delta Xi House

A message from the project manager on this event Jordan Bowditch....

A lot of people have been asking what they can do to help with the current situation at Delta Xi. While we can't change the past, moving forward, as you may have seen or heard, the house is in pretty bad shape and has been for some time. House Corp. has made plans for significant renovations over the next few years, starting with phase one this summer, and we're enlisting the help of our brothers to kick things off.

The first step in the rebuilding process is an Alumni Workday that will be taking place on the morning of Saturday, June 8th at the Delta Xi house for approximately 3 hours. I have volunteered to serve as the project lead for this event, and I hope to have a huge turnout. Even if you can only stop by briefly, it would be a huge help. Please bring a pair of gloves and any other basic supplies you may have at your disposal.

While the charter suspension is an unfortunate situation, the silver lining is that the Delta Xi chapter house is here to stay and we have a dedicated, skilled House Corp. board with Andrew Crossan as the new President. The event on June 8th will go a long way in making sure we can continue operating the house for when the chapter is able to return in three years, so please spread the word to your network, and help us execute a successful event that will pave the way for the future of Delta Xi.

What's done is done, but the future of Delta Xi is bright, and with the help of our brothers, the chapter will return stronger than ever in the fall of 2016.
