Alumni Lunch - February 2022 | Dave Weldon

Please join us for our first luncheon of 2022. We are pleased to welcome Sheriff Helicopter Pilot Dave Weldon (Retired) as our guest speaker.

Dave Weldon started with the San Diego Sheriff's Office in 1988 and in 2000 became part of the ASTREA (Aerial Support to Regional Enforcement Agencies). He played a critical role in the 2003 Cedar Fire - one of the largest and deadliest fires in California leaving 15 people, destroying 2,232 homes, and burned over 280,000 acres of land. Dave and his partner Rocky were the first on the scene and apprehended the hunter who started the fire.

ALL Sigma Chi alumni are welcome no matter if you went to school on the east coast, west coast, in the Midwest or the south. Spread the word and please pass this invitation along to any alumni who would like to come.
