"Grand Del Mar" Bike Ride

San Diego Sigs, Sweethearts, Family & Friends! Come out and join the alumni chapter for a great ride through Del Mar and Rancho Santa Fe on Saturday, January 18th @8:00am. This will be a 29-mile loop with a little bit of climbing to get the heart-rate up. Brunch & Beer following the ride at Viewpoint Brewing Co. Please RSVP so I know who to expect to be there.

Most of the climbing will be knocked out during the first half of our ride while our legs are fresh. We will be riding mostly on roads so make sure you are comfortable riding on streets. It is a no drop ride so we will re-group as necessary to stay together. Be sure to bring enough water and nutrition (energy bar/gel's) to stay properly hydrated & energized. Also, it might be cool in the morning so be sure to wear warming layers that can be shed during the ride, if desired.

We will meet at Bird Rock Coffee Roasters on Carmel Valley Road (Street parking is available or paid parking at the Torrey Pines parking lot across the street). We will depart at 8:15am and I expect to arrive at Viewpoint Brewing Co. for brunch by 11am. (There will be a couple short rest stops along the route.) I expect we will be back to the coffee shop between 12-12:30pm.
