Monthly Alumni Lunch - December 2019

Join us for lunch this month to hear guest speaker, Maj Natalie Lamb (Sig Sweetheart), as she shares her experience as the first female Director of Marine Corps Drill Instructor School at the all-male training installation, Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego. She will also provide a brief history of MCRD San Diego, explain the different types of training that occur at the base and her role in helping shape the future generations of the Corps.

Sweetheart Natalie Lamb is the wife of brother Ryan Lamb. She has a combined 19 years of active military service. She first enlisted in the Navy in 1999 and deployed on the USS Bonhomme-Richard in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003. Following that deployment she was accepted to the United States Naval Academy and upon graduating in 2008 she was commission as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Marine Corps. From 2010-2011, she served in back to back deployments to Afghanistan in support of OEF. She was promoted to Major in 2018 and currently serves as the Director of Drill Instructor School at MCRD San Diego.
