Celebration of Life - Rhudy W. Fowler

To honor brother Rhudy W. Fowler, a Delta Xi alumnus and long time regular member of the San Diego Alumni Chapter, his family is having a celebration to life Saturday 1/26 at the ZLAC rowing club between 11:00 and 3:00. Local Sigma Chi alumni will perform the White Rose ceremony at 12:00pm.

Rhudy W. Fowler

November 29, 1931 - December 19, 2018

San Diego Rhudy Fowler, age 87, passed away after a short illness.

Rhudy was born in Manila, Philippines. He graduated from San Diego High School and SDSU and was a member of Sigma Chi. Rhudy was proud to be an American and served in the U.S. Air Force as a pilot. Afterward, he worked for 39 years at The Upjohn Company as the Worldwide Military Sales Representative.

Rhudy deeply loved his family, God, and his country. He was survived by his wife of 57 years, Nancy (Warner); his children, Lynn Stafford, and John Fowler (Michelle), and his sister, Kathy Koenig (David). He was also the beloved Grandfather of Josh Stafford and Luke, Rebekah, and Kim Fowler and Uncle to David Koenig and Mindy Toyne. A casual Celebration of Life honoring Rhudy's life will be held at ZLAC Rowing Club, 1111 Pacific Beach Drive on Saturday, January 26, 11am to 3pm. Donations may be made to ZLAC Rowing Club (Garden Fund) or the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
