Papa Doug Manchester at October 2011 Lunch
The San Diego Sigma Chi Alumni Chapter proudly welcomes Significant Sig and San Diego businessman Doug (Papa Doug) Manchester for our October 2011 lunch event on October 14th.
Papa Doug has developed a large portion of San Diego's waterfront and reshaped the landscape of San Diego.
The Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego and San Diego Marriott Hotel & Marina as well as the luxurious Grand Del Resort are among his local projects. Additional future plans include a development proposal at the current Navy Broadway Complex named Pacific Gateway.
He is the Chairman of Manchester Financial Group and involved on a national and international level in banking, telecommunications, radio broadcast, medical instrumentation, publishing, and real estate development. Papa Doug is founder of the La Jolla Bank and Trust Company, La Jolla Pacific Savings Bank, NextWave Telecom and various other non-profit charitable organizations. His motto is "Making Positive Memories."

- 2011 dues paid members $15
- Non-dues paid members $30; Lunch & Dues $45
- Dues are $30 or White Cross Membership $100 and good through calendar year
