ALL Sigma Chi alumni are welcome no matter if you went to school on the east coast, west coast, in the Midwest or the South. Join us for our monthy alumni lunch on March 11, 2011 at 11:45am.
Our guest speaker is Independent City Auditor, Eduardo Luna who is tasked with ridding City Government of waste!
Eduardo Luna was hired to run the Office of the City Auditor for the City of San Diego. This department was created in July 2008, to advance open and accountable government through accurate, independent, and objective audits and investigations that seek to improve the economy, efficiency, and effectiveness of City government.
Eduardo Luna was formally appointed and confirmed for a ten-year term as the City of San Diego's first City Auditor on April 2009. Prior to joining the City, Eduardo worked in the City of San Jose's Office of the City Auditor between 1995 and 2007. Prior to working with the City of San Jose, Eduardo worked for several years as an Evaluator with the U.S. General Accounting Office in Washington, D.C. and San Francisco, CA.
Eduardo is a Certified Internal Auditor and a Certified Government Financial Manager. He is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors, Association of Government Accountants, Association of Local Government Auditors. He has a B.S. degree in Political Science from Santa Clara University (where he was also a member of the SigEp), and a Masters in Public Affairs from the L.B.J. School of Public Affairs, the University of Texas at Austin.
In October 2008, Eduardo was invited to serve as a local government auditor representative to the United States Comptroller General's Domestic Working Group.

Spread the word and please pass this invitation along to any Sigma Chi alumni who would like to come. If you've paid your local alumni dues, lunch is $15.00. If you haven't paid your local alumni dues, lunch is $20.00. (Dues are $30 and payable at anytime.) All monies will be collected at the door.
