Save the Date - Alumni Awards Banquet Thursday September 9, 2010

The Executive Committee of the Sigma Chi Fraternity has announced the 2010 recipients of the Fraternity's Significant Sig Award. Among the many prominent members who were selected, we're proud to announce that two of the honorees are from San Diego. These brothers are (in alphabetical order) Thomas H. Ault (San Diego State, '67) and William C. Johnson Jr (Kansas, '62).

The Significant Sig award is one of the Fraternity's highest honors. It recognizes "those alumni members whose achievements in their fields of endeavor have brought honor and prestige to the name of Sigma Chi." The Sigma Chi Fraternity has recognized more than 1,100 brothers since the Significant Sig award's inception at the 1935 Grand Chapter.

Additional brothers named as Significant Sigs in 2010 include Congressman Hon. Barry M. Goldwater Jr. and actor Clarence J. Brown III.

The San Diego Sigma Chi Alumni Chapter will be hosting a banquet on September 9 2010 to honor our newly distinguished brothers along with the late Marc Lord on selection to the Order of Constantine.

The banquet committee is chaired by Garrison Fletcher. Any alumni interested in helping with the event are encourage to attend the next committee meeting held at the All American Grill in Mission Valley at noon on July 15th. Click HERE for directions.
