2nd Annual Baja Sportfishing Challenge

The one and only Baja Sport fishing Fraternity Challenge returns for 2009!

Grab a brother, your son or some great friends for what will be an incredible weekend of fun, fishing and good-natured competition Friday, June 5th through Monday, June 8th. Away from the steep prices of Cabo San Lucas, the competition will be held at the ideal fishing village of Los Barriles, Mexico. Located in the East Cape region of Baja California Sur, Mexico, and situated on Baja’s world renowned Sea of Cortez, this area is known worldwide as one of the premier big-game fishing spots in the world. It consistently produces huge numbers of blue, black, and striped marlin, sailfish, dorado, wahoo, yellowfin tuna, roosterfish and more. Los Barriles is located just 45 miles northeast of Los Cabos International airport.

Grab some of your Sig alumni buds and click HERE to download the registration form OR contact Alonzo Martinez, the San Diego Alumni Chapter Activities Committee Chair to coordinate your trip with other local alum. There is limited space for roughly 30 teams, so don't waste a moment and reserve your spot. There is $1,000 up for grabs to the winningest boat, plus "jackpot" prize winnings for biggest tuna, dorado and marlin.
