Sigma Chi Seeks Alumni Ambassadors
Are you new to San Diego and seek more Sigma Chi connections, as well as a way to get involved with the Fraternity? The Alumni Ambassador volunteer position will present you with an opportunity to meet area brothers who are from different schools and chapters and are of different temperaments, talents and convictions. As you meet other brothers who are looking to re-engage within Sigma Chi, friendships will be an easy and natural progression.
What's more, the Alumni Ambassador program offers a groundbreaking opportunity to gain visibility and build credibility among Sigs in your geographic region. This is one of the countless number of opportunities that Sigma Chi presents to its alumni beyond graduation. Ambassadors will fill a crucial role in Sigma Chi's initiative to re-engage more than 175,000 alumni within the Fraternity by helping to create new alumni associations, expanding existing alumni chapters, providing advice and counsel to undergraduate chapters and officers, and encouraging brothers to become Life Loyal Sigs. Apply today to become an Alumni Ambassador to take the next step in your lifelong journey as a Sigma Chi.
Ideal Ambassador candidates will be self-motivated, organized, have excellent communication skills, be comfortable cold-calling brothers, computer literate and able to commit to a two-year Ambassador term. Successful applicants must be available for expense-paid training from July 29-31 at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. Training will be held in conjunction with the 2010 Balfour Leadership Training Workshop.
